Scott® Home Improvement: Just Add Yellow

In 2013, SCOTT® Home Professional rebranded its iconic Rags in a Box and launched line extensions in the home improvement category under the Just Add Yellow campaign. The campaign, designed to leverage the familiar yellow packaging of the Rags in a Box, rolled out 10 new SKUs, which included coveralls, drop cloths and good/better/best product options.

 
 

As part of the launch, SCOTT® Home Professional built a program that would enhance the brand's relationship with retail store partner, Menards, and lead SCOTT® to become an official sponsor of the ARCA Series. HB&M Sports was there to help SCOTT® activate the program to achieve maximum results.

SCOTT® became the SCOTT® Rookie Challenge sponsor, further leveraging the "yellow" stripe on the rookies’ cars and activating the tagline "From Rookies to Pros, We Got You Covered". In addition, SCOTT® sponsored the SCOTT® 160 ARCA Series race at Road America and engaged 300+ Menards contractors in attendance by providing custom T-shirts that said "From Start to Finish, Just Add Yellow". SCOTT® also let all 300+ contractors act as grand marshal, giving the command to start engines at the race.
